SAFE Project Treatment Locator Terms and Agreement
This service is provided free of charge.
This service is anonymous (any personally identify information is completely optional). NO information you provide to us will be provided to anyone else.
The service is NOT sponsored by any treatment center or pharmaceutical company. It is paid for and managed exclusively by individual donations to the S.A.F.E. Project.
No treatment centers have any advantage in this web application. We strictly use data provided by SAMHSA in conducting the search (over 23,000 treatment centers), and will not try to steer you in any particular direction.
The goal of this treatment locator is to take into consideration your needs and match you with a facility best suited for you, even if it outside your local area.
We draw individual parameters from a potential patient, and carefully protect their privacy. Some of these parameters are fixed, such as gender, age, and location. Others are characteristics that may (or may not) apply to you and that you can weight in importance.
To determine which centers are a best match for you, we compare your information to every state-accredited treatment center in the country that is included in the SAMHSA database.
The result is a report for a patient that shows the top potential matches for his or her needs, ranked in order based on that patient’s specific characteristics and priorities.
By checking the terms box on the first page of our treatment locator, you acknowledge that the data used in this application is publicly available data on treatment centers as provided by the government, and that it may not be 100% accurate.
As a user you further acknowledge that any software may contain inherent errors that can unintentionally skew the results.
